Route Length: 75m of ice
Approach: Approach via the Overlander trail in about 1 hour. The peak is visible from Highway 16 about 10 minutes east of Jasper. It can be see between Morro Peak & Hawk Peak across the river. The ice isn’t visible until in the canyon.
Route Description: The slot canyon between Morrow & Hawk peaks contains a few pieces of moderate ice in the drainage itself as well as on the sidewalls. The main pitches up the canyon have bolted anchors and even some bolts for pro in the steeper parts. There may be other names for this canyon but it is unknown who explored it and added the anchors. It is unpublished in local guidebooks.
